Sorry, but I don't have much time these days. Keep supporting me by giving me those dancing numbers in the views, follow me on Google+, email me to give feedback and ask for Christmas content. The Christmas content will come up on this site on Christmas eve. The only thing that I can think of is Christmas content! Let me go and make it right now!  I might be online more in June, during the holidays. I might be online these winter holidays! So keep learning, my friends, and have a merry Christmas. PS- This is not related to languages, but  you can track Santa (and play all through December). Play before it's too late!

Finnish

Sorry guys but I didn't post for a long time. Christmas is near and I want to tell you about the language of a cold country. Tomorrow I might post about a hotter place. The Finnish language is NOT a Germanic language, although Finland shares the border with Sweden and Norway. It is part of the Uralic language family. Uralic--->Finno-Ugric--->Finnic--->Maybe some division, not sure--->Finnish THE PHOTO HAS BEEN REMOVED DUE TO COPYRIGHT PURPOSES. Finnish is along with Estonian, Karelian and others. I should have thought of a pic earlier. One language gained my attention: extreme right hand side- Motor!? Is that EVEN A LANGUAGE? Sorry, speakers of Motor. It's as less as this. Bye!

The Germanic Languages

Thinking of an easy language to learn? If you are an English speaker, German might be easy. After that, learn Danish or Norwegian or Swedish. If you learn either Danish or Norwegian or Swedish you could understand the other two languages. Why? They come from a language FAMILY. Like if you know Dutch, you'll be able to understand some Afrikaans. Yes, today we are talking about the GERMANIC languages that include German(hence the name), English, Dutch, Norwegian and many others.  You can see the video of the North Germanic languages  here . Now you know how easy it is to learn a Germanic language(Although the grammar in German is a bit tough)! You can visit  Duolingo  to learn a Germanic or any other language. Have fun learning!

Esperanto

I am making a course on Memrise called "Everything you need to know in Esperanto". So what is Esperanto? Well, it's a language. But not ANY language like Spanish or German. It's a constructed language, a language that has been invented by this person or that. Somewhat like Na'vi or Klingon. It was created by L.L Zamenhof.  There are many speakers of Esperanto worldwide, but it's not easy to find one! You can't just go up to anyone on the street and say, "Saluton!".  So is it a waste of time? Not at all! Remember, you are a language learner. If you want to learn, you can learn any language. And you might find some people on the Internet who can speak Esperanto.  The funny thing is, even though it's spoken just anywhere on the planet, it has it's own flag! It's green, with a white square with a green star.
